First Federal Bank is pleased to have supported Haven Hospice's Holidays with Haven at the Blanche event. In addition to being a sponsor, the bank’s President and CEO, John Medina, served as the emcee for the evening. Those in attendance likely noticed his festive hat and jolly hosting style.Haven Hospice Holiday fundraiser 2023 - 1

As a surprise, John presented an additional donation of $6,382 to Haven Hospice through First Federal Way. First Federal Way is a program that gives employees the opportunity to donate to a nonprofit through payroll deduction and at the end of each year, the total amount is then matched by the bank. Employees are able to double their impact through the program. John shared, “We are delighted to help employees support Haven, in addition to our corporate giving programs. The bank looks forward to continuing our partnership with Haven Hospice and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families.”

This contribution will help Haven Hospice continue its vital mission in Lake City and surrounding communities. Their commitment to providing compassionate care to those in need aligns with the bank’s values. “We are honored that First Federal Bank continues to provide support to us,” says Sharon Jones, Vice President of Development for Haven Hospice. “The generous donation from the First Federal Way program is a wonderful holiday surprise and enhances the success of the Holidays with Haven event.”
