First Federal Bank celebrated its legacy of service and continued commitment to the communities it calls home with two building rededication ceremonies in Live Oak and Lake City. These special events brought together community leaders, customers, and team members to honor the bank’s history while looking ahead to its future.

The first ceremony took place on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Live Oak Main Branch, located at 804 Ohio Avenue South. This location was dedicated in honor of John Flood, who served as Chief Executive Officer from 1962 to 1981. His leadership helped lay the foundation for First Federal Bank’s growth and deep-rooted connection to the communities it serves.

The second ceremony was held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Lake City Financial Center, located at 4705 W US Highway 90. This building was dedicated in honor of Keith Leibfried, who served as Chief Executive Officer from 1981 to 2019. Known for his steadfast service, principled leadership, and unwavering commitment, Mr. Leibfried played a pivotal role in shaping the bank into what it is today.

Both events served as an opportunity to reflect on the bank’s enduring mission and the leaders who helped guide its journey. As First Federal Bank continues to grow and evolve, these dedications stand as a tribute to the vision, leadership, and community focus that have defined the organization for decades. Together, we honor the past and move forward, continuing to serve with purpose.
